Even in a difficult time like this, I want you all to know how much I love you!
At this moment it is a very difficult time for me. This is because my grandmother, on her birthday Tuesday, had a double heart attack. I want to thank you all so very much for all the support, the messages and prayers you’ve send me. This really means a lot to me, to know that there are friends at the other side of the Atlantic ocean who cares for you. It’s too emotional to thank you all in private but I’m sure you all will understand this. Thank you all for everything!
Happy Valentine`s Day to all my dearest friends,
I wish you all happiness that will never ends.
Now this special day of love is here,
may you have memories to last through the year.
Valentines Day is a day to show you care,
like I care for my special friends on line and everywhere.
I just could not let this special day go,
without writing this verse to let you all know.
How much I care for all my special friends,
we’ve made some friendships that never ends.
Valentines Day is not just for romance you know,
so take the love in your heart and let it show…xxx
Happy Valentine’s Day my dear friends!
A virtual relationship can awesome but it can also be very painful when your partner is sick. It’s hard because there’s so little you can do for them. It’s important to be there for your partner when they’re sick in real life, but unfortunately that’s just not possible in here. It’s painful and hurts not to be able to help especially when it often means extended absences. There’s no answer and no solution that I know to this, other than just be patient, keep them in your prayers and love them more when they’re back. It’s just part of the cross we bear in a virtual world.
The only consolation I can give is that it will probably make you closer and stronger. I know it’s hard. A friend says that love is, or requires suffering. I don’t know about that, but I do know that relationships are built on shared emotions and this type of negative emotions may be extremely powerful in that. Sometimes I also think that the negative times are more real than the passion. Yes my heart aches wanting to be there for a partner when I know they’re suffering but without the rain, would we really appreciate the sunshine?
Relationships grow faster in IMVU but they can also be very fragile. Your time availability may change, they get a new RL love interest, and all of a sudden you’re sitting here in DisneyWorld without your partner for the rides, and that’s no fun. Even just seeing them come in and not talk to you and not answer an invite can eat away at you and be incredibly painful.
Getting sick or even just having someone else in their family sick, can dramatically affect your relationships. The distance and detachment, makes it easier to talk about some things more than we do in RL, but that distance also backfires a lot.
