I see that so clearly in my 14 year old daughter that sleeps with her cell phone and myself in here. It’s kind of strange but whether it’s messages in my inbox here, yahoo messenger or comments on the website the more I communicate the better I feel and the more I want to communicate.

Our testing has been extremely promising and we’re ready for the first field tests.  Each twin will take the experimental drug before sexual activity. It went on to talk about other things, but I thought that overhearing that frank conversation would be helpful or interesting. Don’t be upset that girls are evaluating guys, that’s the process. And if you embrace that and try to learn the right answers you’ll have much more fun. It also doesn’t take much to stand out from most of the clueless guys. That’s what I’m trying to do here, to help you get better at the game and have even more fun. I have found that if you politely and patiently persist and refuse to give up, they sometimes relent because I think they may get graded by the amount of calls they handle. So if you take forever they might feel more pressure to resolve it for you. This may not be easy if you’re outside of the US, but you might be able to use Skype or a service like that to access their toll free number and call them inexpensively. Unfortunately it’s never easy to deal with them and they act a little like a monopoly so good luck with any issue.

Another friend had an issue with someone who got her password and unfriended everyone on her. Things happen, and thats when you suddenly realize that you can replace credits and rooms and clothing, but if you lose your friends you may have a real hard time getting them back.  My name Kaitlyn is pretty easy but most names here are really hard to remember, especially when you’re crying.

So take just a minute and make screen shots, capturing an image of your friends page.  Page down and make as many images as necessary.  You’ll probably never use or even look at these.  Just save them somewhere in case anything ever happens.  IMVU is all about relationships and losing some of those relationships is very painful.  I’m backing my friends up today and hope you do too.  I hope you never need this but if you do I hope you have it.  It’s free and only takes a minute to do.

Nobody looks down on anyone in here. In fact it’s quite the opposite.  Your friends here are real people too and they love you and know you are a great cherished real person too.  Don’t take the loving feeling we share here to be anything wrong or hurtful, it’s not at all. Hold on and put off any major decision until you’re not in the middle of the emotion but don’t be afraid to step back from the emotion. 

The answer is that it’s not if you use it reasonably. Anything can be damaging or bad if you use it wrong or overdo it. Fast food or even vitamins can be bad for you if you don’t eat anything else. But that doesn’t mean it’s wrong to eat any fast food or vitamins. Yes, IMVU is addicting, but playing online games is addicting too. There are a lot of situations where IMVU can be really beneficial for people, giving them a social life that they wouldn’t have been able to have as much otherwise. I guess anything that is beneficial and so much fun is going to be addicting to some degree. And if you abuse anything it can have a downside.

I admit that I probably spend too much time on here. But the incredible fun and gratification you get here is still better for me than anything else, even when I divide it by the number of hours I’m here. So as long as it doesn’t cross over into real life, and I’m not spending too much money or taking too much time away from my family to hurt things significantly here, I think it’s a good thing. We are off the edge of the map to some degree, doing something so new that there really aren’t always answers. I guess that’s part of the reason I started this to try and figure these things out a little.

This is just one view though and there are probably as many different answers to this as there are different situations. So this is one post I think a number of people will be able to wade in on and add some perspective to.

When you this much creativity and effort into it, it makes the gift so much more special and makes them feel good and feel good about you.

Sending big long flowing messages that tell them to send it to all their friends are only marginally helpful. A small more relevant message you wrote specifically for them or that looks like you wrote for them, can mean more.

You don’t have to send everyone an IMVU Gift. But you should send some special friends something. It’s not that they need things. But it adds importance and weight to your message. You can just send a 200 credit card if you don’t have many credits. (where else can you get a card for the equivalent of about 10 cents)

It’s not the amount that matters but the relevance and thought behind it that people do appreciate. Remember you’re dealing with people and the emotions here are real, even if the place is virtual. So use Valentine’s day as an excuse to spread some love, and to say hello to people you haven’t had a chance to talk to recently.
