Wow I hadn’t heard her say it quite that way but she has experience in that and had talked about writing something to that effect. It’s very true. It’s not important that you come on a lot but that you try to be consistent to build strong relationships. And when you can’t as much, messages are the key and Wendy is certainly the Queen at that!

I can’t agree with you more about the importance of messages to sustain a relationship when you are away. I think our dear friend Kimmi put it so well when she pointed out that in the real world you become friends depending on where people live. On IMVU, you become friends based largely on when people log on. That often depends on time zone, but it also depends crucially on job schedule and sleep habits.

Since Kait is the Queen of Generosity, you should listen to her opinion on this, she’s the expert!

Though the science on this is also clear. More generous people tend to be happier. But that could just be a correlation. More importantly, subjects in labs who are given the chance to give show measurable levels of happiness in MRI scans of the brain, and people given money in a lab study are happier when given the opportunity to give it away.

The thing I love about your posts Wendy is you show how universal these feelings are. I know that Kait and I share a lot of the same feelings about being here, it’s nice to know that you, coming from a different continent, feel almost exactly the same.

And I totally agree, Kait deserves the spotlight. She likes bestowing queenships, so to me she is the Queen of Generosity. The more generous person I know, now just with gifts of stuff, but with her gifts of friends, her gifts of time (to this site, to the community, to her friends), her gifts of her thoughts, and most importantly the gift of her heart.

Boy that makes you look so smart and I guess this only proves my point. I know my friends will say why do you let someone post such stupid venom, but I just laugh. The point is that it’s so stupid, that it makes him look like an idiot to anyone that knows me. All I did was blow him off and walk away and point out how wacked his approach was.

The good news is that no matter how crazy you can probably find a spot in here and have some fun. But it’s also interesting that no matter how someone acts you can always just walk away from them too. And walking away from someone with a big ego and all caught up in themselves is the worst thing you can do to them.

So the next time someone tries to intimidate you, just laugh in their face and totally ignore them. They may call you names to their friends but it gives you the last laugh and only makes them crazy and you can just giggle at them. A little girl beat the big monster, lol. i don’t want to say anything to you, and I certainly don’t care a rats ass about anything you want to say. I just used it to teach a point. :)

Update: LOL, JeanPaulVell seems determined to talk, and keeps asking friends to invite me because I blocked him, but he seems afraid to say anything here, which is typical of most bullys. He thinks his costume makes him big or important but doesn’t want to say anything on the record. My only response is simple. Grow up or crawl back under the rock you crawled out from. Katy is way more than just the queen of cute. Both she and her partner Susan pictured above right and by above right, i do mean right above me, is also equally smart, awesome at rooms and design, and the best friend. And I couldn’t put up a post about imagination without including Susan, especially when it was written by Katy. Good luck with your move btw.

Katy, you’re right we do feel the things we see in here. That’s what makes it so powerful and feel like more than a video game or something. I think it’s because with time you associate with your look here and internalize it. You definitely get to know each other and feel everything very intensely. Much more than anyone expects ahead of time, or at least much more than I did.
